The LOYI Skincare Team is the in-house group of skincare formulators and content specialists behind LOYI (loyi.pk). We build active-ingredient skincare for Pakistani skin and write every article on this blog — combining hands-on formulation knowledge with the real-world conditions our customers face across Pakistan.
We don't borrow generic advice from abroad and paste it here. Pakistan's intense summer UV, monsoon humidity, hard tap water and dry winters change how active ingredients behave on your skin — so our guidance is written around those conditions, not in spite of them.

How we write — our editorial standards
Trust matters more than hype, so we hold every article to clear rules:
- Cosmetic claims only. LOYI products are cosmetics, not drugs. We use language like "helps reduce the appearance of" and "supports" — we never claim to cure or treat any disease, in line with Pakistan's DRAP guidance.
- No invented facts. We only state ingredient percentages that are real and printed on our products (for example, Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% and Salicylic Acid 2%). If a number isn't confirmed, we leave it out.
- Real sources. Where we reference dermatology science, we point to reputable bodies such as the American Academy of Dermatology and published research.
- Honest about home remedies. We discuss popular options like multani mitti and besan fairly, without overpromising.
